Back in 2008, we had a plan to christen in the year with a series of prints commemorating the year of the BLAAAAH. This edition was the first in the series, which was later unceremoniously ended with the print Waiter! There’s a Fly in My…

Printers can sometimes be a superstitious lot, and looking at this print makes us chuckle a bit at how far we’ve come since those early days spent in the university studio. In order to get a super-flat look to the rainbows in this print, we decided to print each color individually through a masking tape stencil. The end result was a labor intensive mess, but rough edges aside, we still like the idea behind this print.

As a result, we’re offering this edition on sale in order to clear our conscience and spread some blah in 2010 and beyond.

Printed on 100# Cougar Opaque Cover Natural, and approximately 20″ x 26″. 7 color print.
