Practicing My Scales

This edition, which exists in two separate color-ways, marks the first print produced at Vrooooom Press to use a digital prepress process. A selection of antique cuts of fish, bath tubs, and nude women were digitally altered and added to an abstract landscape, which itself was altered digitally from a photograph.

A lot of the work we produce seems to have a surreal bend to it. You could say that it comes directly from our work process, which tends to place preference on following random inspiration to its final conclusion. Many of the pieces produced in our studio develop from a singular brainstorming session, but that session is typically where we draw the line. There’s nothing sadder than a design that’s been critiqued to death.

This edition is sold out. Thanks!
